After living in Georgia for the past 15 years, my family moved back to Pensacola. With lacrosse being fairly new in the panhandle area, I will be facing a different challenge. Playing with a helmet!!! Just kidding. Although that is different for me, my personal challenge is how to pass on knowledge and experience that I have gained over the past 7 years to my new teammates and be a great leader. I have to raise my physical fitness level to new heights as we have few to no subs and must play every minute of every game. The season officially ended tonight with another tough loss. This season was by far the hardest I have ever had to play. In every game I was double, triple, or quadruple teamed. I had to play 90% or more of each game as the draw middie. Pushing through the physical and mental exhaustion and walls of defenders, I still managed to score 25 goals and win countless draw controls. I had to constantly change my play as each opposing team tried various plans to stop my movement to goal. I can truly say I am proud of what I accomplished and hope to continue growing and adapting to what is required of me here in Pensacola.
