I had high hopes for this year. My main goal was to make the varsity team during my freshman year, continue to grow my skills, and gain more experience. Good news is that I did make the varsity team and also floated down to the JV team when needed. Bad news is that I broke my hand at the beginning of the season and had to play with a cast. That was a challenge, but I rose up to that challenge and was still able to be productive and play at a high level. Even more bad news is that the season was cut short by COVID19. What a shame as my hand had healed and I was finally able to get out of the cast.
